Sandra Curry

Sandra Curry is the Community Partnership Manager at Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, Inc.  She has worked in the nonprofit sector for the past ten years, most of that as the Education Director for the Franklin Center of Beaver County, and prior to that was a classroom teacher in Memphis, TN.

As Community Partnership Manger, she administers the Butler County Food Bank, which provides three food programs which serve 23 food cupboards throughout Butler County.  She has formed a partnership with 724 Food Rescue to receive donated and rescued food which is then re-distributed out to participating food cupboards.  She is currently developing plans to expand the food program to include nutrition education and outreach and to introduce agricultural initiatives which strengthen local food producers to build capacity throughout the food value chain.

Curry is also working with Butler County Community College’s “Town and Gown” initiative which aims to give the College a more visible presence in the downtown corridor by supporting a number of community and economic development initiatives in the City of Butler.

This includes involvement in the College’s “Hope is Dope” opioid initiative. She has also assisted with various community development activities conducted by the Butler County Tourism Foundation, including co-organizing the 2018 Great American Cleanup in the City of Butler.
