Paul Abbott

As senior director of Market District, Paul Abbott cultivates and leads the unique strategy that has established Giant Eagle’s Market District format as the premier destination for people to discover the pleasure of food. As a 31-year Giant Eagle Team Member, Paul combines years of retail operations and merchandising experience with a serious passion for food into his current role.

As an active member of the specialty and local food communities, he has served as a Specialty Food Association SOFI Awards judge and works closely with commercial kitchens, incubators, distributers, and producers throughout the region. He has a passion for culinary innovation, supporting the local food economy and inspiring people to find their own love of food.
